Synopsis:
Ify is put under pressure by her avaricious husband to get a job and contribute to the family budget. Being pregnant shortly after getting to Lagos, slows Ify’s job hunting which further infuriates Kobi. Ify is confronted with adjusting to a new life and city, battling prenatal depression and dealing with an overbearing husband.

Every household should take some time to sit together as a family to watch Vanity.
Ify, the protagonist of the film written and produced by Stepheny Acholonu-Onabiyi, must overcome the challenges of relocating to a new location, experiencing postpartum depression, and coping with the domineering behavior of her husband, Kobi.
Vanity teaches couples to always have certain conversations, including those regarding when to start welcoming children, finances, and also having a plan B in case things don't work out as planned. Because marriage is about service to one another, it's important to discuss and get to know your future spouse so you can meet their needs. Though… every pregnancy is unique, and every father needs to understand that hence sacrifice is necessary.
Vanity had excellent production values, engaging storytelling, high-quality visuals and audio, and a brilliant cast and performance. All of the lines were delivered well.
