No.

He should have sold his soul to a corrupt thief and embezzler whose only achievement was a beer parlour.

You want a world class scholar and Nobel Prize winner to support a thief who refused to build a single school in his entire 8 years as governor?

You really don't know Wole Soyinka.

I rather renovate 700 schools like obi than build 50 new schools

No. As you are renovating, you should be building more.

8 years is a very long time to not build a school, even in developed countries, how much more in a developing country like Nigeria.

Is the population not rising daily?

Of course you need more and more schools!

I don't know where you are from but when it comes to schools... South East has enough
There is no village in my state IMO without a school my village has two primary and one secondary

South East finished building schools in the 1970s

THIS IS DIRECT FROM A YOUTH ORGANISATION IN ANAMBRA.

“We are also constrained to highlight the very poor state of our public schools across Anambra State. Anambra public primary and secondary schools are fast becoming antiquities with no concerted efforts by the state government to carry out total overhaul of structures in our schools to meet modern standards.

“We see the kind of model schools poorer states like Borno, Gombe, etc are building for their students and wonder why it seems a taboo to build modern, aesthetic schools in Anambra State. It simply means there is zero political will to build such.

“The South East APC Young Progressives Forum also wants to use this opportunity to ask Governor Chukwuma Soludo why the state government is not contemplating creating more schools in view of the ever expanding population across the state and the need for more standard public schools to cater for the qualitative education needs of the growing population in many cities, towns and villages. For the past 18 years, no single new public secondary or primary school have been built by the APGA-led government in Anambra State. This is very unfortunate and must be addressed.''

Rubbish.

The Pyrates were not a murderous group of bandits like these modern day cultists.

Don't go blaming Wole Soyinka for the crimes of students who were not well-raised by their parents.

You people have serious problem you don’t know.
Why the hatred on the man, because he didn’t support your candidate? Does that make sense to you? Everyone is free to support who ever they choose and it’s none of your business. What he has achieved, nobody in your entire lineage has ever achieved it. Shameless bitter loser

Stop posting rubbish statistics when people are suffering in poor, neglected schools!

Oh sure, it was ''one person's opinion'', conveniently forgetting he was speaking on behalf of a youth organisation in Anambra!
