1. Cooking Habits: The First thing You Might Overlook

One of the main reasons which your cooking gas don't last longer can be from your cooking habits and frequent use of high heating kitchen utensils. Extended cooking times, and multiple burners in use simultaneously, can actually consume gas faster than usual. Some kitchen utensils are made of hard metals with make it difficult for heat to penetrate easily, so it usually takes longer for them to get hot or heated.

It is also no brainier that beans will consume more cooking gas to preparing rice or other soft foods. So, having to prepare beans twice in a week with a 1 KG gas, what do you expect?

2. Gas Leaks: Invisible Thieves

A silent but serious reason for quick gas consumption could be undetected gas leaks. Even a small leak can result in a high loss of gas over time. If you notice a distinct odor of gas near your stove or cylinders or if you hear a hissing sound, it is advisable to turn off your gas supply immediately. Don't attempt to use until issues have been rectify.

3. Appliance Efficiency: Old vs. New

The age and working process of your cooking appliances play a role in gas consumption. Older appliances might not burn gas as efficiently as newer >>>>
