Dynamics Of Religious Practices. by lamboloosta(m): 5:23pm On May 23
I've always wondered why the advent of Christianity & Islam discarded the pre existing religious practices or traditional beliefs.

Often times I ask myself why Believers of Islam/Christianity see Believers of Traditional Practices as been archaic or immoral.

I believe everyone relates with GOD with different approaches and methods.

I'm from the Yoruba Tribe and over time I've heard many believers call GOD in many names.

Ifa Worshippers call GOD 'OLODUMARE', Christians call him 'JESUS' 'ELSHADDAI', Muslims call him ALLAH.

My question is why some or most Christian/Islam Believers see the Ifa or Traditional Worshippers as ungodly esp when they're all worshipping the same God but each belief with it's own approach.

I'm not talking about those Herbalist that worship Satan but the ones that worship God in their own way.

Even in the Bible before Christ, sacrifices and offerings were made to appease GOD (not human sacrifice) and this is what I believe the Traditional Worshippers are doing till date.

Please I'm writing based on my understanding with the hope of getting some clarity to this and probably understand better the dynamics of different Religions practiced in our contemporary world today.
