Prophet King David
David, known as a man after God's own heart, also faced moments of moral failure and committed sins as recorded in the Bible. Here are some of the key sins David committed in the Bible:

1. Adultery:
- David committed adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite, while Uriah was away at war. This act led to a series of tragic events.

2. Conspiracy to Murder:
- To cover up his adultery with Bathsheba, David conspired to have Uriah killed in battle by commanding his army to place Uriah in a vulnerable position.

3. Lack of Discipline with His Children:
- David's lack of discipline with his children, particularly with his sons Amnon, Absalom, and Adonijah, led to family strife and tragic consequences within his household.

4. Pride and Census:
- David's decision to take a census of Israel, against the advice of his military commander Joab, was seen as an act of pride and resulted in a punishment from God.

5. Neglecting Justice:
- At times, David failed to administer justice in his kingdom, as seen in the case of Amnon's crime against Tamar and Absalom's subsequent vengeance.

6. Failure in Parenting:
- David's shortcomings as a father, including his failure to address the actions of his children and the resulting family conflicts, are also recorded in the Bible.

David (Dawud) in the Qur'an and Sunnah
A. In the Qur'an:
- Prophet David (Dawud) is mentioned in the Qur'an as a righteous and pious servant of God.
- He is known for his strength, wisdom, and devotion to Allah.
- David was a king and a prophet who ruled with justice and fairness.
- He is praised for his ability to make decisions based on divine guidance and his skill in resolving disputes.
- Allah also mentions his ability to glorify Him through his songs and praises with animals and mountains praising Allah with him.

B. In the Sunnah:
- In Islamic tradition, Prophet David's fasting practice is highlighted as exemplary, fasting on alternate days.
- His prayer routine, where he would sleep for the first half of the night, pray for a third of it, and then sleep for a sixth of it, is also mentioned in the hadith.
- Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) spoke highly of Prophet David's fasting and prayer habits as models for Muslims to follow.

Overall, Prophet King David (Dawud) is portrayed as a noble and devout figure in both the Qur'an and Sunnah, known for his piety, wisdom, and devotion to God. His story serves as an inspiration for believers to seek righteousness, justice, and closeness to Allah in their lives.

I've always wanted to ask...why can't u Muslims preach ur gospel to unbelievers ??
I mean, why can u guys just preach what ur Quran wants the unbeliever to based on God's word...

Why do u have to discredit, soil, insult, another person's faith, and religious texts so u can give credibility or some higher rank to your own religion...

We are preaching actively! Do we need to tag you or inform you when we preach?
But this is just about David in the Bible vs David in the Qur'an.
If you see any mistake from my part kindly call my attention to it!
If you have nothing extra to say you can just negodu!

David was a Jew, his story was known to the Jews and documented by them and also appear in their scriptures years before Muhammad was claimed to be possessed be a demon came to give you another version of the Jewish prophet

How can Muhammad who confessed to have been possessed by a demon give you a different account about a Jewish man when Muhammad himself was not one?

Can you a Yoruba man wake up today and write a different thing about Muhammad who lived more than 1000 years before you were born and expect the Arabs to believe you? They will know that you’re a liar just like Muhammad is!

That is the stupidity you want us to believe that Muhammad knew more than the Jews about their own forefathers

Derail? No one is derailing. I’m just teaching you common sense that an Arab man who lived thousands of years after Jewish prophets cannot give a correct account of the people who are not his ancestors or from the same place. Muhammad was just lying like he was assuming many things like sleeping with his wives when he didn’t. He revealed all those lies when he was bewitched

Sahih al-Bukhari 3175
Narrated Aisha:
Once the Prophet (ﷺ) was bewitched so that he began to imagine that he had done a thing which in fact he had not done.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6063
Narrated `Aisha:
The Prophet (ﷺ) continued for such-and-such period imagining that he has slept (had sexual relations) with his wives, and in fact he did not. One day he said, to me, "O `Aisha! Allah has instructed me regarding a matter about which I had asked Him. There came to me two men, one of them sat near…

Only fools would take the words of a bewitched man seriously
