Tears Of A Young Girl (Episode 1) by Storymack: 3:01pm On May 23
One afternoon as I was busy playing with my neighbors my mother called.Mama Njeri's home and our home was only separated by trimmed cypress,so I could hear my mother calling although she was in the kitchen cooking.

I had stopped playing and ran to listen to what my mother was saying.

My name is Sarah and I am eight years old,the only child to my parents Mr and Mrs Oduor. We lived in Kisumu but in the village of Kondele.

Sarah I want you to run to the shop get me salt, two tomatoes and don't forget cooking oil,the one we usually use,get the small one,my mother said. She went into the house and came back with a five hundred note then handed it over to me.

And tell Mama Terer to take the money that she still owed me.

okay mama,I said as I ran to make sure I was back early to go and continue playing.

The shop wasn't that far,it was some few meters away from where we lived.

I ran as I sang along everything that my mum had told me to buy so as that I couldn't forget.I got to the shop within some few minutes.

Mama Terer the shop owner was happy to see me,she had asked how I was doing, she asked about my mum.She and my mum were very good friends.

After she had given me everything I had ordered for,I put it into the white polythene that I had carried then rushed home.

As I walked home,a black tinted SUV followed me.The murram road was mostly used by motorcycle riders, cars used to pass through the road but it was very rare but I didn't mind,I continued singing walking.

The driver reduced the speed as he approached,I was scared and wanted to run but the driver had lowered the window of the vehicle and called me.

Hey,how are you? he said.

I am fine sir,is there any problem.

No,I am your uncle,Sarah am from town get into the car so that I can drive you home.

I stood as I thought for some minutes,I had heard cases of children who had been kidnapped by people who drove cars that were tinted black and taken away from their parents,I loved my parents and I didn't want to leave them but how did this man know my name was still a misery.

I had then decided to get into the car since he knew me there was no way he had been lying about being by uncle as a matter of fact I has only seen one of my uncle's,the rest lived far away.

He started the engine, gave me some candies and off we left.
