Iran is making preparations for memorial ceremonies to honor President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash along with seven other senior Iranian officials.

The ceremonies are scheduled to take place on Tuesday and will be held in two significant locations.

The first ceremony will be held in Tabriz, the provincial capital, in the morning. Following that, a second ceremony will be conducted in Qom, a city known for its religious significance and as a popular pilgrimage destination.

The specific dates for the funerals of these esteemed statesmen have not yet been announced.

The funeral arrangements for President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who perished in a helicopter crash, are being meticulously organized in Iran.

The memorial ceremonies are set to occur on Tuesday, with the first ceremony taking place in Tabriz, the capital of the province.

This will be followed by a second ceremony in Qom, a city renowned for its religious prominence and as a revered pilgrimage site.

While the exact dates for the funerals have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that President Raisi will be laid to rest in his hometown of Mashhad.
