It is when this sandfilling started that Landmark was able to implement some amusement installations on this their water front as it significantly cut down the tides.

Landmarks doesn't have water front. He encroached on the water front land belonging to the government.

In 2018 when I went to check a land at that Dangote refinery. The developer plainly told us those who bought land on the other side of Dangote refinery are on government land and it will be reclaimed.

La campage Tropicana belongs to this category and will lose their asset.

We have been seeing propaganda fly around about government demolishing $200m landmark beach investment that employ over 100k people.

Then I came across the picture of the demolition and I burst out into laughter.

The way we call money in this country, you would think people get mental problem.

Shey na the $200m investment demolished be this?
He probably included the cost of the FG land that is part of the 250m from the shoreline he encroached upon , according to the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi.
Unfortunately, I am sure he was taxed on the worth of this asset he claims he owns except FIRS have been dulling themselves.

Water corporation has always serve as the alternative road to the rolled Lekki epe express, and cannot be used an highway.

Besides, having a 10 lane highway on water corporation will hamper the ease of access to businesses backing the beach.

We keep telling them this but they are not ready to hear. A lot of them do not know this place. They just want to cry on social media and join the noise.

Umahi just accused Landmark of playing politics and I kinda agree with Dave. If not mental problem and crazy politics, how do you even lie about your own business simply because you want to paint the government bad?

This constant lies and propaganda is exactly why most don’t take people like that guy serious.

Its easy for you to say this... What of if it was your father? Landmark talked because he is learned. What he is asking is simple, the same concession you gave to other buildings please give me such. Umahi confirmed yesterday during his interview that he adjusted the plan because of some buildings which he called high buildings. Landmark is asking please follow the former plan.

This is not Onitsha where houses are built without basic infrastructures, health like road, drainage, water, sewage etc. This is Eko Atlantic where all these infrastructures, health were put in place first before construction of skyscrapers commenced.

I know you lack basic knowledge. We don't see with video. We are there live and direct.

but honestly, this doesn't make any sense, the only sense it makes is the corruption sense. what is the urgency and importance of hurriedly starting a multi-trillion naira project that will not be completed until maybe 10 to 15 years from now when there is an alternative that only needs to be fixed with just a quarter of this new contract amount?
why the urgency? there is al alternative, what is the importance of this road? there are many many many better things to channel this wasted funds to. definitely definitely tinubu is no longer in charge of this govt, i don't know why they all lose control of things immediately after they become president

So, here's what it is. This coastal road thing is the next biggest robbery in the history of Nigeria. This is what we warned about the thief who now calls himself president. What's on display here is to increase and enhance the value of his retirement investment, Eko Atlantic City, at our expense, apart from bragging rights.

You read that right, and by the way, this is what he has been angling for all along. Is it any surprise that he chose to start from the Lagos end?. Tinubu and his wife know that he will not see the end of this project, be it 4 or 8 years.

Of course, he found a willing executioner, the failure called David Umahi. What's the story with his super colorful airport?. How many planes have landed there?. How about starting things from Calabar?, of course not.

So, there you have it. We warned Nigerians about this serial thief and morally repugnant individual called Tinubu. Did anyone listen?.

U have destroyed the Igbo man business, u can go and rest now.

Nothing they will tell u to stop u performing that wicked act.

U have done it now, congrats, u also now have two roads, one in front and the new one at the back.

Original route was suppose to be the one in front but wickedness will not allow you pass front, without destroying the Igbo man business.

After u destroy the business then you rejoin the road in front.

White people better pass you evil blacks.

White will never do such to their fellow white or investment in their country.

Otherwise, Arabs wont be investing there. Even a yoruba man bought Gatwick airport there.

FG owns the beach. That's why others along the route are not complaining. It wasn't sold to him. The land where the event centre and others are is his duly allocated land which isn't affected.

If you've been to the other road in front, you'll see that it's not big enough for 10 lanes plus there'll be more destruction of buildings along that route.

Nigeria is illiteracy and poverty capital of the world but you'll find anyone else insulting people about poverty and illiteracy than Nigerians themselves grin grin grin grin

Before you start complaining about valuations keep in mind that your Naira is rapidly becoming useless grin grin grin

Furthermore, you see that particular part of Lagos? 90% of real business is done in dollars to circumvent the USELESS naira. Rents, school fees and especially real estate... its all mostly in dollars. Some will even tell you it is because of the high number of rich foreigners living there but it's really that. Just the fear of inflation only very rich people have. It's that way in parts of Abuja. I had to pay dollars for my house and it is not too far from that Landmark beach.

Additionally, in the world of law and high finances, when a profit yielding asset is demolished like that you don't factor in only the price of the roofing sheets, the cement blocks and the land all around like you are doing That is simple stupidity and ignorance and that's what had me laughing at you. . grin grin grin

Hear me out, if you’ve held money and know worth of properties, you won’t claim Landmark investment is $200m. You are telling me that nonsense is worth 200billion. You must not know money worth for you to claim that nonsense.

This was me at “The Good beach” in 2022 when I dey Naija along that axis. It’s very close to Landmark beach. No beach for that area with all their complex and etc is worth anything close to $200m.
