God Almighty knows why he said that about women,it was to make his people israel distinct from other nations thriugh these laws he gave them.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered,
29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

This is another harsh and unfair law which I find difficult to believe was given by God to Moses! No matter the dispensation, women deserve better.

So as a young girl I can be raped by any beast and will also be forced to live with him in marriage forever so long he pays a fine!

This can’t be God but rather some Chauvinistic and misogynistic guys that decided to subjugate, dehumanise and denigrate women by using God as cover up!

The God , Jesus , presented to me with his messages and life style will not treat women like shit in this way! Jesus loved, respected and valued women! He alone is my role model and standard.
