HOW TO PROPERLY START A BOOK

I have been writing books since I was 9yrs old. I am Twenty now. One thing I have learned these 11yrs is that to start a book, you MUST NEVER FREE WRITE IT.

Be it a story, novella, drama, poetry even; never be the type to start a book by free Writing the beginning. If you are the sort of person who has many ideas in his/her head. Do not start writing a book because something came to mind.

I did that a lot and it left me with many UNFINISHED BOOKS because the fact is, I only pictured at MOST, three chapters.
