Stop giving people wrong advice . He is 32 and going to the embassy with a college i20 ,do you think that will get him an approval considering high rate of denials recently even for PHDstudents. Tell people the truth, everything is not about admission, the most important thing is the approval.

Since no one want to say it , I don't mind if they block me but you are a very silly person with little or no experience with this US visa and admission thing . You are just an hustler looking for food for your family and its only gullible people that will patronize you or the lazy ones like you that can't read that will accept your foolish takes. D

Lol. I just saw his post and like always, he doesn’t disappoint. Secondly, we’ve said it. Nobody but himself and his alternates take him serious. Please, ignore him.

Hey 🤠

@Zihno , @fearlessfang , @Danburuwa and @Sisib15

1. Are you guys not in the same failed click ?

2. You have being using the moniker of @Sisib15 to defraud Nigerians on job scams and NYSC redeployment scams since the year 2023.

3. your tricks and exagerated impressions about USA visa is being exposed hence you resorted into creating groups where you are still wasting the time and resources of visa applicants.

4. I hope Nairalanders noted the above monikers. Their aim is to gain and enslave visa hopefuls. God will soon judge you !

He/she is allowed to try their luck.
If he can convince the consular officer during his interview I don't see why he won't get his visa.

He has to be prepared to explain beyond a reasonable doubt his study gap.

If he can't convince himself then there's no need to go there.

You and I can't are not the author of his fate!

Hey 🤠

@MrSoftlife.

1. God bless you for your outlook. In your explanation you will not advice someone to chose a community college over University but You still gave out the possibility of visa on the condition that the OP has to convince the consular.

2. Instead of them to come out with reasonable opinions like yours above , they would be like " why do you like misleading unsuspecting applicants ? You are a thief 🙂

3. Any community college that issues Form I-20 in the USA is a SEVP certified and approved. Do they even know the meaning ?

@MrSoftlife. Thanks.

Best Wishes 🙏

Hello hellopoza,

I just gained my admission into Georgia State ,but I do not have any scholarship and I’m just planning to apply for any GA position this fall. Kindly let me know how I can reach you urgently.

You are in the right place.
I think you should try and apply to Georgia State University. You need a good SOP and reference letters in addition to your first class.

Remember funding is limited and it is first come, first served.

[/hey mrsoftlife, what do you mean by funding is first come first served, is it like that for GSU or does it work like that generally ]

They will still pick their wants based on merit or extra curricular activities , not 1st come 1st serve. Don't use that term in academic discussions. You may say deadline applies. Cheers.

Hello Experts in this forum, I need your advise please.

I am currently based in Poland and I am looking to relocate to the USA now that I have finished my studies here.

The questions are;

1. Ofcourse. I am self Sponsoring. will you advise me to get my financial documents here in Poland or use financial statememt back in 9ja.

2. Also, I'm looking to defer from Fall to Spring which is 2025. I have been conditionally accepted already. Getting appointment is no issues at all. However, my residence status ends September 2024 (few months from now), so I am trying to get everything sorted out, atleast visa appointment come September at most.

So the question is, perhaps I defer to spring 2025... I hope it doesn't delay my 1-20 issuance because as I said, I'm looking to get started with my financial documents ASAP from next month.

Please note, My reason deferment to raise sufficient money to help me settle for atlease the first year in US. Hence I am looking to resume Spring which is Januart 2025. Your thoughts please ?

Is there any where I said it wasn't by merit?!

I am communicating with Nigerians and I believe they understand the message conveyed.

You should have corrected me by saying that's not applicable to all schools.

Love ur contributions sir, and what if the applicant is younger and chose to go to a college cause of its COA? I'd appreciate ur response sir
OyoTunjiUSA:

Hey 🤠

1. My first USA VISA was gotten via Cabrillo College (F-1) and i was over 25 yrs of age that year (sorry not bragging pls).

2. There is no age limit in education. While studying at Cabrillo, i assisted another lady who was 35 yr of age and working in a small firm with NCE certificate to achieve the same feat.

3. It's not going to be problem if you can give good reasons for going that route. Some community colleges even have programs which you may not easily find in USA Universities , and they are actually for matured applicants , average American students who have left or drop out of schools , students who love practical studies ie arts and crafts as against reading and calculations etc.

4. Give good reasons for choosing that school, proof that you will return after study, your ties or what will make you return to Nigeria , ability to pay your school fees and your over all profiles (as indicated in your DS-160) will certainly work for you .

Best Wishes 🙏

Hey 🤠

@Danieljobb. I know you are a troll who was sent from the cabal's camp but i'm still gonna lecture all of you. Go n pick a pen and a sheet of paper my friend.

1. People who spread rumor that going to a community college is not good to justify a student visa are ignorant and should keep the misinformation to themselves.

2. The only REQUIREMENTS for an International Student on a Student VISA is that you must have an admission to a SEVP approved school which 95% of USA community colleges falls under. It could be anything from clown college to a 4 year college. Many Indian and Asian students after graduating from high-school arrived USA just to learn (American) English at an ESL school. Is ESL schools better than a community college ?

3. One of the top reasons for denial of a visa is insufficient finances and inability to prove home-ties. IN FACT, choosing a community college shows that you have considered the matter carefully and chosen to start with a less expensive option.

4. Even for extremely wealthy families from Africa, choosing a community college makes a lot of sense (like immersion study centre ) : the student can get used to living in the USA and to USA teaching methods ( How many of African high school graduates, even University
graduates can perfectly write down a direct classroom- speech from lecturers and Professors from major American Universities who are typical American teachers ?).

4. I use Indians and Chinese students as my case studies (they send highest percentage of students to the USA) and if your reason of chosing a community college in lieu of an American University is COA then you have a reasonable reason.

5. If the applicant is younger then attending a community college in USA as a training ground to familiarise with American style of teachings and to adapt to lecturer's accents are reasonable points to the consular.

6. Even Nigerian teenagers still thinks they are in secondary school by their lifestyles on Nigerian University campuses, Not to talk of the pressure and over-excitement a 17/18/19 to 20 yr olds Nigerian students would encounter on American University campuses.

7. I am not placing community colleges above USA Universities but dont rule it out! Don't have the knowledege more than the American government who gave SEVP gestures to Community colleges.

Best Wishes 🙏

It is from the school, it is part of the fees to be paid.

Okay, thank you for the comment

Sisib15:
What do you mean by insurance fee? And what do you need it for?

After your admission and i20, your will apply for visa by paying for mrv at gtbank,then you start your date search here ustraveldocs.com. After you have secured a date ,you will pay for sevis fees through the help of someone in the usa and then you go for your interview.
