Quality Sheabutter available at affordable price
Re: Guide To Sheabutter Opportunities, Export, Extraction And Refinery In Nigeria by Webcomb: 11:03pm On May 07, 2021
I think there's a mix-up on page 1 where you quoted the price of 1 metric ton of shea nuts to be N100k. Later, you you quoted the price of 1kg of shea nuts to be N950.

From my understanding, 1,000 Kg make up 1 metric ton.

Thus, if 1 kg of shea nuts = N950;
1,000 kg of shea nuts = N950 x 1,000
= N950,000.00
(Nine Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) Only.

Your write - up is is very informative. Thank you.

Shea butter also offers UV-protection and has strong anti-inflammatory properties. It comes from the nuts of Karité trees that grow in the Sahel region and can be found in the dry savannah belt of Nigeria. The tree starts to bear fruit when it is 15 years and reaches full production at 20 years.

Restore Damaged Hair

Since Shea Butter is rich in Vitamins A & E, it can be applied to hair and split ends to repair damage. This makes for stronger, moisturized, soft, and shiny hair. Shea beautifies your hair even after it has endured extensive damage.

Shea butter business is profitable. There is a market for shea butter and it really explains why it is needed both locally and internationally. It is used in hair and skin products.

There is more demand for Shea butter than is currently produced. Rural-based women from time immemorial have been using manual traditional methods to process about 60% of all the crude butter produced in Nigeria at a relatively low extraction rate of about 25%. Currently, the production of Shea butter is often done manually in semi-industrial and small 100% industrial scale in Nigeria.
