hello peeps, i have a mtnfastlink modem and when i download the peak of speed i have got with 3g is 2.8mbps. but someone told me that using the universal modem that is not branded by any of the mobile networks gives much of a higher speed. pls if there is anyone using the universal modem, show off ur speed so i can know if its to buy the universal modem. thank yall |

akin, what is d highest speed u have seen on ur universal modem. Cos my fastlink does not exceed 2.8mbps on the interface. |

what network gives u dat speed, And i mean u have got 7.2mbps. That means i have to get this universal and i had the opportunity to get it at 5k but strong head pushed me to buy fastlink. Akin can u pls upload a pic of ur speed on ur universal. |

No 3.5G network in Nigeria gives up to 7.2Mbps. That value is the theoretical maximum speed of the universal modem. Real life speed is much less than that. |
