So this morning I jest discovered that my name is incorrectly spelt on my NIN slip I got like 3 years ago and forgot about it.

An N is where an M should be and I missed it somehow till this morning.

Please, how and where do i make this correction and how much will it cost me?

It is a very stress free procedure honestly. Had mine done about two months ago in Delta State. Your issue is the same I had. Never took it serious until the need for document renewal emerges.

Action:

Visit the nearest NIN office in your LGA preferably anyone within the LG Secretariat. You may spend little money (I spent less than 5k) on the process.
After the correction, a slip will be given to you.
Within a week or less than a month, you will be contacted for the outcome.

Remark: Very ease process to do, avoid the road side NIN vendors.
