You have to have won something. The first 4 all have a case.
Should we go for European title or League/Cup title.?
I think L ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️ kman has the strongest case.
If Leverkusen had won it, there will be no contest — Boniface.

jokes aside if it happens na superb move for him ooo

I pray it works out. Any of the top or mid table championship clubs won’t be bad to be honest. Miles better than languishing in lower clubs in the Portuguese top tier

That level is too high for him.

Maybe he should get to English League two other better still let him find relevance in the retirement league of Turkey

Sure thing, he’s helped Huesca to the top flight before he can do it again.

Help keh

They were so grateful that they tried to end his contract well before the season had ended and illegally as well in April.

He went to AFCON even before he left he was already out of favour. He was suspended and banned from club training. He played 19 games all season not sure how many starts.

And you say he helped them get promoted 😳😳

That's how they use stats and bias to sway arguments in their favor.

Onuachu isn’t the best striker out there ,but common where was the minutes ?

Just watched the Arise interview with Finidi and I think it was okay.

Definitely, not eloquent enough but I think his communication is okay.

Promising thing I took is that he has one thing in mind. Play Good Football. That is a big plus.

Also, it takes some close listening to get some things from him.

Finidi is egotistical but in a good way that is more.of confidence than pride.

He wants respect. Absolute respect. He has been there, done it and wants the best for every player.

He has a good understanding of the dynamism of the modern game and so we should expect improvement in our tactical approach.

We will play good football but get compact a lot of times.

He also wants a close personal relationship with the players. A kind of family approach.

I think he did okay.

Something is missing in dis report…finidi failed to soak up knowledge from la masia and guardiola 😊

Prime Salah is the only player I would rate remotely close to Messi and CR7 in terms of consistency and delivery in clutch moments.

charlesemeka85:
Prime Gareth Bale and prime Mohammed Salah who was better?

For me I will go with Bale

If Lookman is to move this summer he shouldn’t go to any club that finished below Newcastle in the EPL
PSG, Barcelona are good
Juventus or AC milan will win the Scudetto next season
Italian teams are rotating it I believe
I don’t see inter retaining it
Bologna, Roma & Atalanta would cause problems next season

But someone said they'd struggle in league one.

Quite a few said actually lower.

Brendan Rogers is not going to talk down his achievements as Celtic manager, he is going to hype it and exaggerate matters.

Below comments from two managers and a player.

This is unnecessary. It is football we are discussing and not much at stake. Please I am a Sharks FC fan, a Port Harcourt guy, I lived near one of Finidi George's houses. One of his first house. His Sharks FC coach, Coach Monday Sinclair lived in the same building block with me. We watched match with Papa a lot. Finidi George is a possession football coach. I have no reason on earth to want him to fail.

Na wa.

If you know Finidi you will know Ogbuefi Drive GRA and who I might have visited there .

Funny looking defense but good to have Okoye back. Let's see what the NPFL players can offer sha. 6 midfielders 👍

He said Lookman no get talent? That's interesting and perhaps recent. As far back as 2022 he considered him a good player. If that's true your 'fair weather' assessment may be correct.

First of all over the years style and presentation become clearly identifiable, of everybody here.

Sometimes you don't need to actually check ✅ the writer before you know who it is.

Do you really think I will use the diction "Lookman no get talent"

Believe what you like

Wetin do Uzoho ?
Ola Aina ?
Shortage of left backs

Going forward I hope finidi finds a good creative midfielder, a good centre back & left back from the league or wherever.

Don’t know Tiamiyu’s position
Left back or centre back
We have good amount of right backs

I guess you don't know where he is going with that point yet. he was gradually aiming a dig at Osimhen. He has been insisting Boniface can start ahead of Osimhen.

First of all I don't see anything that makes VO comprehensively better than Boniface.

In this regard I ABSOLUTELY see no reason why Boniface can not start a game before VO. That doesn't mean he is better just brings something different.

I don't think the number 9 spot is the exclusive preserve of one player alone which for you is VO.

In the last AFCON I probably would have started at least one game with Moffi because he Moffi brings something different. There were times when VO direct play was too predictable and sometimes you need something different.

Going with this list
The midfield & defence isn’t world class like the goalkeeper or attackers
We need creative ballers and reliable centre backs with Ekongs type of presence
Where are the natural left backs
Big mistake not inviting our best right back Aina

Our team selection is like our politicians constant recycling.

I thought there was talk of getting Tosin 🤔

KC, Awaziem, Yusuf, should not be there in addition not enough invention , creativity and technicality in the Midfield.

Onuachu is an appendage we all know what he can do but it's not how I think the SE want to play.

With regards to the local players how good 😊 I simply don't know. But my skeptical self wants to believe they have been put in there by some NFF godfather or the assistant coach ( bull 🐂) trying to cut a deal for his preferred players.

curlers are the only technique? His goal against Roma no be technique? The assist he gave Kvara earlier this season that isn’t technique? Of course he isn’t prime Ronaldo but then he’s no pub footballer
Osimhen is technically limited. Doesn't mean he's not a good striker. Haaland is technically limited but he's a beast in front of goal. Rashidi was like that too. You can't compare Osimhen to technically gifted attackers like Benzema, Harry Kane, Son etc. He can even hardly dribble.

Tosin & Bassey will be a great combo
They play regularly together at Fulham
I guess they’ve booted out the last Afcon winning 2013 player left
Ken Omeruo

I was also expecting midfielders and defenders from the local league that are use to that Uyo pitch

We must crush South Africa
Their players play together
