Life has proven over the time that all expectations cannot be met. Whatever the case maybe; the Lord is God and His reign has no limit.

Things will not always happen according to your plans but the words of the Lord. Irrespective of whatever surrounds your life the Lord will always be there even if all the earth perishes.

There is no doubt in the fact that you had great expectations and projections for this year in every aspect of life. At this very point in time, it is possible that you begin to have a reflections of what you have achieved so far as the year runs out. If your case is a type that seems not to make much progress or enjoy the physical blessing of God as you thought you would; it does not change the fact that you are highly indebted to God who spared your life.

You are not among those who died even when they never dreamt of that. The Lord had been gracious enough to keep sickness away from your home. You did not lose your freedom on the account of the offence you did not commit.

Don't be like those men who will only praise God when success comes their way or those men who want to use God to achieve their aims and abandon His ways. Rejoice in the Lord your saviour; better days lie ahead.
