I am looking to buy about 5 acres (more or less) in Lagos or in Ogun, but somewhere close to Lagos where housing estates and development will take no more than 10 years. The real plan is to use the land to build residential flat blocks surrounded by nature. However, for the first two to five years, the land will be used for agriculture, while the real estate development plan is being planned.

I have a very solid person in that arena to get you land. The mananaging my farms was also a Nairalander. He died, and we had bonded. He became someone who taught me trust existed after so many years of heart break. Is needed to forget him and moving away was the only way as the more I remembered him, the more I remembered my own past loved ones lost too !

Land purchasing entails obtaining the proper documentation and understanding all of the legalities involved. So, before I start anything, I always want to know what kind of documents I will be giving. And copies should be provided so that I can send them to my legal team for verification.

Please understand that the sources you know are insignificant to me. I believe you should see the language beforehand, but you want me to spell it out. To make sound decisions, I need an informative discussion based on evidence. This is why I am posting this request here. If these people are close to you and you know them so well that you are confident that this is the right place for my request, please state the documentation involved....or let someone else help out here. I do not want to read any further because you have sources there. Please, let us not go down the lane. Instead of relying on sources from people I met on NL, I am looking for information about the entire process. Sources people in the past relied on and were scammed.

Read the thread very well again....he wrote N500 to N650k per acre which I believe the price may be lower. Ofada is a bit far from Lagos....not that close that Lagosians live there.

Why are you so interested in land around Ofada area? Could you kindly share?
