I was trained to believe without education your life is zero 😭

I have passion in tech with ability till date but due to the mentality when all my friends was bagging NIIT CERT AND GOING TO I.T SCHOOLS I left them and go to normal university 😢

Till date am still struggling to get a job while my friends are bubbling with car and living very fine..

Young guys of today should at least discover themselves in a particular skill or passion and they shouldnt let education be d first as society portray it 😡

It's not late to enter the trade. Apply for the training and cert. Its never too late. Except you are actually lazy. In another 3 to 4 years you will be happy you did.

The biggest mistake you will make is not realising that you can still do it now.

You are right. I bought a land February last year and immediately got to work. People were asking me if I was going for double flats which I said no, just one flat. I told them that I needed what I could start and finish within a year or two.
I finished my bungalow within eight months and moved in the same last year.

congrats to you.

Though it's a great asset if the duplex is complete ,but the process is not easy ....cost of iron skyrocketed between December last year and April this year not to talk of other materials . I would have gone for a bungalow if well advised . I would have moved in by now too .

The Nairaland Moderators do not want you to thrive in business.

They secretly hate when you make sales and will do everything in their power to make sure you do not thrive in the business you put on their Forum.

I wish I knew this truth earlier and marketed my business on other platforms other than Nairaland.

As for me, for someone starting from the scratch. When you start making money, let's say hundreds of thousands ... never let your family or friends know yet, invest some of the funds into what gave you the initial money without having a second thought, and seek for more updates.

Join communities and research to. I hope u are not asking for a list of coins to buy because no genuine person will want to risk telling u that. Why?. Because it a risky venture. What if you lose, do u handle that well and not bleame those that tried to give information. So, best way is to research and join communities that are good and have sound minds. Check twitter and Reddit. Even nairaland has a good thread on this.

Not studying hard enough. I was complacent, probably still. Never studied until I had an exam time table. That cost me some precious marks. I could have made 1st class but I didn't study hard enough. I had the potential energy but didn't kinetise it enough. I knew I could never fail an exam but I missed out on top grades that I should have gotten. Graduated with 2.1 but I regret not doing what I should have done. It would have definitely set me up for better opportunities.
