I believe the way we stretch some things is unhealthy. Yes, the word "unhealthy" may not fit in, but follow me closely.

I see people stretch: You can't be a believer and be sick; people stretch: You can't be a believer and have your family member die.

Amazingly, all these things are truly true. But can I say if the type of gospel we preach and know is that of smoothness, we will have issues?

Now, we can keep screaming, "God cannot fail; I cannot fail." Okay then. I don't know what gave you the audacity to compare yourself to God.

This statement is different from "where others fail, I will not fail because Jesus is with me." Two different statements.

I'm not saying we will be failures; I'm not saying we will be sick; I'm not even saying our family members will die. Because if all these are perpetual in us, then what essence is the life we've received?

But I'm saying, what if it's a possibility? What if it did not go the way I wanted? What if I'm truly a watchman and I pray, and it still happens without my knowledge?

If we scrub this out of the gospel, something is wrong.

Now that we claim to be glory, we will have a problem when something affects our so-called glory. It's time to return glory to whom it's due, so we can report our situation to Him.

We have believers born again, workers, executives in fellowship, even pastors who can't describe their SALVATION EXPERIENCE.

A topic for another day, but I'm saying it won't always go the way we desire. And when it happens, the heavens will ask a question: Will he or she still stay?

I hope our appearance before God, our work before God, is not just based on our excellence. What if the devil appears before God and says, "It's because of this and that he/she is serving you; just remove it"?

Can we still stand?

I'm saying, even in tribulations, He is still God.

And we judge Him faithful!
