Guy, na you dey talk like this ? When was the last time you reach akwa ibom?

Guy, things don change for this eastern region, in relation to the present economic situation.

Since that 11 Yrs, many many many waters don pass under the bridge.

I'm curious, what has changed in the past eleven years that has made it difficult for people in Akwa Ibom to cultivate cassava? Cassava o, not cocoa.

Very funny, state police? Indeeda You are amongst the true version of what they call the masses, the ones been played by people practicing politics.

Who are the people that will form the so called imaginary state police, isn’t it the same youths I am saying government should empower with the security votes money today who have shown themselves capable for duty?

Youths in Edo formed a vigilante to fight against Fulani herdsmen and even deployed juju. Their efforts worked, until the Nigerian Police, yes the police, arrested them because they fought against Fulani herdsmen.

In Bonny a custard rubber is sold for 4200, a cup is 350, while 3 cups is 1k

Well, Bonny has always been an expensive place to purchase food items.

Are you kidding me ? You mean Taraba that is supposed to be the food basket of the nation ?
It is finished.
It is even cheaper in the East here as we are still buying 3k

Taraba isn't known for the cultivation of cassava. Although, it should be cheaper considering Northern Cross River - a cassava producing hub - is contingous to it.

Calabar is one of the highest producers of Cassava

Calabar isn't an agricultural hub. It's Northern Cross River that's the hub. And mind you, it's a very long distance from the south where Calabar is to the north which is the agricultural hub. Bad roads and dangerous topography characterise the journey between north and south.

That’s the problem we have in AKpan Andem market, the unions. They bring out about 3 bags of garri and choose who to sell for that day and at a particular price. They chase you away if you attempt to bring in your stuff and sell at a cheaper rate. Very wicked set of people. I don’t know why government can’t do something about this. And these union people are all elders and deacons and even pastors in church o

How about you rent a store in one of the numerous shopping plazas in Uyo or near Ikpa Road to sell the garri? Even it means doing Google and Facebook marketing to let people know. You mustn't sell at Akpanadem.

... You don't expect the current price of cassava tubers to be same as Eleven years a go na. Common sense and Economic principles suppose make you know this.

The price of fuel and gasoline currently is not the same as Eleven years ago. The current price of Food items is not the same as Eleven years ago, Abi you wan ask me how these things I mentioned above take affect current cultivation and price structure of cassava in that part of Akwa ibom..?

Fair enough, but these factors shouldn't deter people from cultivating cassava and processing them. In the next ten years, the prices would have increased. So, why wait and complain? Abi the fuel increase only affects Akwa Ibom and environs?
