In a normal country where the system works, an impeachment proceedings would have commenced against the Kogi state governor for violating the laws he swore with the Koran to uphold by using the power of his office to aid the escape of his godfather facing criminal prosecution
But, the system in Nigeria is that which the speakers of the state houses of assemblies are appointed by the governors while the Senate President and Speaker are appointed by the sitting president so members of the state houses of assemblies, the Senate President, speaker, and NASS members are errand boys to the president and state governors.
This also buttresses the fact that religion In Nigeria is a big SCAM.
The thieving leaders swore with the Bible and Koran to uphold the law and be transparent but become armed robbers who do not obey the law after being sworn in.
And, Nigeria church and Mosque goers praise and worship criminals whom they know are criminals
