On the 17th of November which was a Friday, I used the ATM of a bank at a filling station and I was debited but the ATM had dispense error and wouldn't dispense cash.those around the filling station asked me to wait for 24 hours and it will reverse automatically.
All throughout the weekend, I got nothing.
On Monday, I wrote a mail to my bank stating what happened and asked for a refund. They replied that it has been escalated and it's being worked on, but because the ATM I used is not of my bank, they had to contact the other bank to know if the transaction was successful or not and it would take 3-5 working days.
The 5 working days elapsed yesterday and I still haven't gotten any response.
Do I have a case if I decide to sue my bank?

Your bank might tell you 3-5 working days but this things could take weeks before it could be resolve you just have to exercise patient and keep reminding them.
I once had a similar issue and it took close to 3weeks with persistent call/email/SM before I was refunded.

If one doesn't take action...this is how it continues and you never know what they do to us by withholding that money
