I lived around surulere lagos, and during my off days I usually visit newspaper vendor joints because I naturally love arguments be it sports or politics, there are about 4 newspaper joints in my area, prior to the election they were always full of people arguing and predicting the outcome of the election, but sadly immediately tinubu was declared winner i noticed that those joints are now empty and the vendors barely make sales even the tinubu supporters barely visit again, since February 25 I always visit those in my off days they are always empty people have lost interest and hope
deep down both so called Batists and obidiients wanted a change of government but were all dissapointed Muslim,Christians all tribes were dissapionted by the outcome..
so sad.. embarassed

trust me, if obi was declared winner Nigeria woul have sprung to life, because it is believed that who much is given much is expected people would have being optimistic about obis government because of the hype from obidients but unfortunately the suffering continues for another 8 years.

Stop living in the past, Peter Obi did not win, & he was never going to win.

Obi did not have national coverage.

Wishful thinking can lead to delusion.

Could Obi muster any significant vote in Sokoto or Zamfara?

Who knows Obi in Borno or Potiskum?

Obi is a local champion.

I don't know how educated people cannot understand this.

Grandiose delusions! You are convinced of your own greatness and importance, hence you will resist any attempts to persuade you you that you are mistaken grin

Over 8M people voted Asiwaju! They are everywhere around you but you chose not to see them. Who are we to persuade you that your movement lacks depth and true popularity?

Very sad. Nigerians didn't vote that man. You can only see his supposed supporters on nairaland. Nobody came out to celebrate his victory like it happened in Abia state. Sad but it's not over yet

I'm sure you think you are educated.

Can't you think?

The 3 major candidates won 12 states each.

Obi in particular, was not competitive in at least 15 states.

In Bauchi Obi got 9k votes whilst Tinubu who didn't win the state got 95k.

It saddens me to see how unanalytical the average Nigerian is.

Shame.

Instead big sense, nah big prikkkk u get. That's sad

Yorubaland and core North , both regions with the highest voters, did not vote for Mr Obi. They do not know him, his name, his party and his politics of divisive tribal religious campaign was not recieved.

In his leaked video he confessed the reality that Yorubaland up to Kogi and Kwara do not know him and not ready to vote him. If you like lie from now till next year, the truth is that Mr Obi lost. Yoruba and core north did not vite for him.

I wonder what would have become of Obama if the US had said that the USA had never had a black president before undecided

It is sad that people like you still exist in this 21st century, it's so sad

How does this justify rigging

What is the need for violence, threats and lack of protection if truly APC is certain of winning the election

Over the years you have used minors to rig

It's time to put all these charades to rest!

We know better!!!

This election is just too difficult to defend! Just stick to the selection!!!
