I've been reading alot about who is the best tribe, the better looking women, who has the sexiest accent, although the topics are entertaining, they are not of much substance when threre are majore issues in Nigeria. Please could you tell me what could be done to have a social service administration set up for women and and small children so that food and medical help can be provided. Why can't children that are in primary school go to shcool free? You talk about the road need to be paved, safe public transportation is needed, how do you as a people get there thing implemented? When Nigeria is full of natural ores and oil, why are not these used to pave the way for the restoration of nigeria, Why is it that the natural wealth is there but it is not used for the people? Things that i saw when i visit Nigeria made me very sad, but hopeful, please tell me what can blacks in Ameriaca do to help our brothers and sisters in Africa, I am only one person, but i do know others with the same concerns. Much Love

I've heard many say that Nigeria is hopeless.
But for my faith in God,I would agree.

Grew up in a Nigeria (in my younger days) with running water in the shower, constant supply of electricity, good passable roads, trash collection, fire brigade service, stocked hospitals.
These are now stories,I'll be telling my children.

is there anyone that doesn't know that some cities in Naija had only very few power outages at some point.
As a kid,the light only went off during thunderstorms, where did you people grow up?
Or am I talking with kids born in the nineties?

Minimizing corruption is the key. There has to be a way to curtail African leaders from inflating the cost of government projects and outright looting of the treasury. I don't know how feasible this will be in light of the Banking regulations in Europe and America. Successive African leaders will continue to stow away their countries riches in foreign banks, for the benefit of family and friends until a pragmatic action is taken with the assistance of western government curtail it. In the interim, most African countries will continue to wallow in the resultant poverty until majority of the population become aware to assert their right and demand the rule of law.
